Meet Rachel
I truly believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to enjoy each aspect of their lives and work towards becoming the best version of themselves. I utilize an integrated and collaborative approach to therapy in order to assist you with improving your well being in a way that is right for you.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed addictions counselor. I specialize in assisting people to process past trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and substance use. Utilizing knowledge of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), neurobiology, general wellness, mindfulness practice, and sleep hygiene I focus on treating the whole person.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2011. I have worked for several different agencies in the addiction treatment field but enjoy working with all types of clients. I am from the mountain town of Glenwood Springs and love returning home to such a beautiful place.
In my spare time, I enjoy being outdoors with my family and dogs experiencing all that the foothills have to offer.
