Meet Hope

As a devoted mother of four daughters my story has seen me through significant life challenges—including a high-risk pregnancy and premature birth of twins with a variety of health issues, a difficult divorce, financial ruin, and the blending of a family. As chronic stress and unprocessed trauma began to impact my mental and physical health, I recognized the need to prioritize my own healing, not just for myself, but for my children as well. This has fueled my commitment to supporting others' healing and wellness through the work I do.

As a Trauma-Informed Wellness Educator, I have worked with at-risk youth and families for over fifteen years, with a particular focus on child advocacy. My efforts are grounded in compassion, driven by my deep understanding of the struggles others face. Known as a connector of people, I collaborate with various health and wellness practitioners to provide a holistic approach for education, support, and resources aimed at enhancing emotional and physical well-being. I emphasize stress management and self-care, while sharing tools, strategies, and resources that inspire others to live the life they deserve.

In addition to my professional work, I am a passionate writer of women’s fiction novels, which serve as a form of Bibliotherapy for myself and my readers. The stories I create are crafted to cultivate social-emotional awareness by giving voice to the challenging scenarios that test our resilience.

When not writing or working, I enjoy an adventurous and playful life with my husband, Sky. We love to be in the mountains and on the water. Together, we bounce between Montana and California, exploring the beauty of the world through camping, hiking, yoga and meditation. Our blended family includes 4 adult daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and 5 delightful grandchildren.

Meet Carley

By the age of ten, I had lived through several life-altering events that I was unsure how to navigate at the time. While learning about my own neurodiversity and how the trauma I had faced impacted me, I realized that I always led myself into places and roles for a common reason: I wanted to help those around me and provide support where I was able. My experiences and drive for advocacy led me to begin pursuing psychology at CSU. After my undergraduate degree, I hope to move onto graduate school and eventually become a clinician in an effort to be the person that I needed when I was younger, and help others to make positive and productive changes in their lives.

I’ve been in love with the mountains ever since I moved to Colorado and I have continued to explore it as much as possible, be it hiking into the scenery or exploring hidden mountain towns. In addition, I enjoy riding horses, mixing sound for live music, and baking breads!
